Estudantes da EMEF plantam hortaliças em projeto de escola em prol da Educação Nutricional
Ter uma alimentação saudável desde a infância é a melhor forma de prevenir várias doenças. Assim, é fundamental que a família e a escola estimulem hábitos saudáveis referentes à alimentação. Pensando nisso, no decorrer deste mês, o projeto “Alimentação saudável” desenvolveu várias atividades sobre o tema, com os estudantes do 1º ano da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental (Emef) Professor Vercenílio da Silva Pascoal, que fica em Joana D’Arc.
Inicialmente, foi realizada uma sequência didática a partir do livro “O grande rabanete”, para desenvolver a leitura e escrita e começar a envolver a turma nos hábitos saudáveis de alimentação. Em seguida, para colocar em prática o que conheceram na história, a professora Claudia Ferrari levou um rabanete para a sala de aula, uma vez que muitos dos estudantes não conheciam a hortaliça.
Em outro momento, a professora levou a turma para fazer o plantio de beterraba, tomate e alface na horta da escola. Após vivenciar a experiência com muito entusiasmo, eles produziram textos para registrar e avaliar todo o aprendizado adquirido. Além disso, a turma tem ido frequentemente regar a horta e acompanhar o crescimento do que plantaram.
O estudante Danilo Pontes, 7 anos, contou que aprendeu bastante com o projeto e compreendeu quais os alimentos que não podem faltar no prato. “Muito legal o nosso projeto e plantar as hortaliças. Aprendi que as saladas nos ajudam a ficar fortes e saudáveis”, disse.

Para a professora Claudia Ferrari, que está habituada a trabalhar com turmas das séries iniciais, é fundamental introduzir os conceitos de alimentação saudável e exercitar a educação nutricional desde os primeiros anos da infância.
“É visível o encantamento dos estudantes com as atividades que desenvolvemos, eles mesmos pedem o tempo todo para irmos até a hora acompanhar o crescimento do que plantaram. Durante a merenda escolar vários deles passaram a comer a salada e relatam que é porque aprenderam que ela também é gostosa e importante para a saúde”, ressaltou a professora, que contou com apoio da diretora Maria Luiza Marques, da pedagoga Irani Soares e da estagiária Meirieli Mandini.
